Snicky Snack

When The Beanpole was younger he couldn't go to bed on an empty stomach so his mom would always feed him a "snicky snack" and the habit has now been passed on to me. The sweet and tart apple last night held me over for a little while but it wasn't long before I wanted something creamy and chocolatey...So I had a bowl of vanilla ice cream (maybe 1/4 cup? maybe less) with a couple chocolate chips on top and went to bed! I love how putting it in my tiny bowl from Japan makes it look like so much more!
